Overall, Greensboro real estate continues to show improvement. The homes under contract have increased for the last two months, which is great news. After the end of the Federal Tax Incentives for new and existing homeowners, we weren't sure of the impact on pending home sales. Although the number of homes sold has fallen since last year and last month, that was expected because so many buyers rushed to close before the end of the tax credits. On the plus side, interest rates continue to remain at all-time lows. Current market conditions and low interest rates present a great opportunity for home buyers! Average DOM (Days on Market): 138
Comments: The number of active homes for sale is up 2% compared to July 2009 and is down 2% compared to June 2010.
