Greensboro, NC Real Estate Home Report:
The Greensboro Home Market Report shows some solid improvements from the same time last year. The number of homes under contract in Greensboro remains healthy, increasing 11% when compared to January 2010. The number of homes under contract is an indicator of how the house market is going to do in the next 30-60 days. In addition, the number of homes sold increased by 34% for the same period.
Interest rates continue to be extremely low and the inventory of homes is high. However, even though interest rates are still low, we have seen them steadily increase over the last few weeks so don't delay if you are considering a new home or real estate investment property. Also, although the inventory of homes is still high, homes for sale in Greensboro has dropped since last month, as has the number of new homes being listed for sale. I've said it over and over but it bears repeating...now really is a great time to buy. This goes for First Time Home Buyers and Investors.
